Just went natural< 11 months growing out my perm)and I love Tracee hair! I love her style TOO of course. And as soon as I decided to go natural…I googled Tracee just to peep ALL her variations of style. Thank you!!! Nothing is more beautiful then a NATURAL, Classy, educated woman.
Chandra, thanks for your comments. Yes, Tracee definitely keeps her hair game tight. How have you has your natural hair journey been so far? If you have any tips or tricks, please share – I’m sure all the transitioning ladies would love to hear from you.
THANK YOU for putting up Tracee Ross. She’s such an icon for unusual but lovely chic style and I LOVE HER HAIR. I think seeing her definitely kept encouraging me to go natural and stay natural. Three years and counting so far. My hair hasn’t been this healthy in years and now that it’s this long it’s great to see people like Tracee so I can try to cop their styles. I would LOVE her hair styling guides and secrets!
I have enjoyed my transition. Just like “Life” there has been a few moments of “wth” am I doing. Times when I have felt “under-dressed” because my hair wasn’t flowing “Celeb-beyonce” style. I have become a huge fan of twist-outs, roller setting, and pressing my natural hair when I do want a more polished look. The youtube.com community and forums like these have been a huge help. Before I went natural I assumed you had to “BC” just to be natural. I transitioned under my sew ins and quick weaves. From there I would let my hair breath and try different styles. It will be a year in March and I still haven’t secured a regimen. Cantu “leave -in shea butter”, motions lavish conditioning shampoo, and hair polish during my final look has helped. Nothing more rewarding then waking up in the am and loving who I am. Natural, nappy, and happy! Blessings!
