If you are in NYC on Monday – Disney will be unveiling its first African-American Princess – Tiana – at the American International Toy fair.  Disney hasn’t officially released any pics of her but there are some potential mock ups floating around on the web.  The princess Tiana doll will be the same size as a Barbie doll and will wear blue ball gown and tiara.  This is the first time in 11 years that Disney has released a new princess, the last was 1998’s Mulan.  Later on this year, Princess Tiana will also make her big screen debut in the animated musical “The Princess and the Frog”.  It’s about time, but cute!  Dying to see her dress, hair and make up.  Disney I hope you will do us proud.
