WHY DID YOU CREATE THIS SITE?

I’ve a had a love/hate relationship with my hair for the last couple of years and wanted to fall back in love.   For the last 6 years I’ve been natural and found it was time to embrace my kinky curly texture.  While researching the do’s and don’ts of natural hair care, I found there weren’t many sites that catered to Canadian curlies.  Most products and hair salons referenced on blogs aren’t available here in Canada.  Curlista will fill that void.  While it will have a Canadian feel, it will be welcome and relevant to all.

Nope, I’m only a expert on my  own hair.  Before following any of the how-to giudes or buying any of the products mentioned on this blog, please contact a professional.  And please remember, that certain techniques will not work for everyone – so if it doesn’t work for you – that’s unfortunate. Hopefully you will find something on this site that does work.

I’m a producer for a national Canadian entertainment show and am always scoping the scene for what’s hot in celebrity and pop culture. In addition to doing red carpets, feature interviews, etc., I also produce a weekly style segment that features the latest and greatest in beauty, fashion and style.
