Dominican Salons in the TDot and Montreal
The weather has offically started to change here in Toronto and that means I’m starting to change up my hair routine . For the last couple of weeks I have been flat ironing (gasp) I know, the heat is not good, but I do use a Kerastase Heat Prtoectant when ironing. I do plan on perfecting my roller set. I had tried a couple of times on some cool days this summer and I practically ended up in tears. I am committed though and know that I need to perfect the set and try to get that Dominican Hair experience in the comfort of my own home. If you haven’t had a dominican lady set and blow out you hair – you are definitely missing something.
Anyhow, this list is so long over due- here’s a list of possible Dominican hair spots in Canada – hopefully they are still in business and all in fact do wash, set and blow out. Probably best to call first…

Thanks, that’s all for Toronto?
hi Mariels, there might be more. These are the ones that I know. If anyone else finds any I would love to add them to the list.
It totally sucks that there is nothing else in the GTA (espevially out West). I am sooooo in love with my hair when I leave a Dominican hail salon in the US. They are amazing. If I was to find one out here I would go faithfully every two weeks. There used to be a Dominican hairstylist names Elizabeth that used to work at the Cutting Edge Salon on Jane (near Wilson). She was FABULOUS! She is no longer there and I would love to find her again. WE NEED DOMINICAN SALONS HERE DAMMIT
Great read, Ill come back
I’m in Ottawa; do you know if there are any salons in Ottawa that use this technique?

Thanks! Going to montreal to celebrate my 30th! Hair is important!
Has anyone been to Martha’s in Toronto? Can you bring your own products there like you can in the DR?
